A sleepwalking young man, ZIKO is excommunicated from his village for a “serious sin” he committed in his sleep. This decision is reported to the other surrounding villages. Expelled from his village by a cruel winter day, Ziko, half-naked and hungry, tries to reach the city through the villages that await him with hatred. But a deaf-mute hunter who ignores all this must go to town the same day, by the same route.
Als ein schlafwandelnder junger Mann, Ziko, der wegen einer "schweren Sünde" aus seinem Dorf verbannt wird, muss er die Dörfer, die ihn hasserfüllt erwarten, durchqueren, um in die Stadt zu gelangen. Auch ein taubstummer Jäger muss am selben Tag auf demselben Weg in die Stadt gelangen.
