Sherif Cicek
Serif Cicek was born in 1992 in Amed, Northern Kurdistan (Turkey).
Turkey. During his studies he worked on numerous film projects in Istanbul.

2018, he worked as part of the Rojava Film Commune in northern
Syria-West Kurdistan. Afterwards, he moved to Germany-
land and worked as a director and producer for Art Re-
cords Production. With Art Records he has already shot numerous
music videos and TV shows.
Recently he released his first documentary film
"Prison or Exile," which is currently being shown throughout Europe.
Serif Cicek wurde 1992 in Amed, Nordkurdistan geboren. Während seines Studiums arbeitete er an zahlreichen Filmprojekten in Istanbul als Szenenbild-, und als Regieassistent. IAnschließend zog er nach Deutschland und arbeitete als Regisseur und Produzent für Art Records Production.
Kürzlich veröffentlichte er seinen ersten Dokumentarfilm „Gefängnis oder Exil“, der derzeit in ganz Europa gezeigt wird.
